Our preliminary results suggest that disproportionality is highest when students of a given race/ethnicity represent a low percentage (~ < 20%) of the total student body at a given school.

Note: The data presented elsewhere in this site for Miami, Washington DC, Denver, and Las Vegas was used in this analysis. This report was produced by stratifying the schools in these cities based on percent student body of each race and calculating the special education risk ratio for each race.
